Got this from myspace (thanks Britt!), but it was amusing to kind of reflect on how things were before the baby.
1. Were you married when you had your children?
Yep. Almost 5 years in.
2. What was your reaction?
To finding the preg test positive? Utter shock and confusion. ha ha. Granted, Nick's reaction was much better, "I don't trust the dollar store test. Go buy a real one at Walmart, and then we'll talk."
3. How old were you?
24
4. How did you find out you were pregnant?
I was IM'ing Britt about just feeling crappy for a few weeks and she suggested a pregnancy test. Figured, whadaheck, it'd be most likely negative, but it'd be good to rule one cause out. :) A dollar store trip later, and lo and behold, there it was.
5. Who did you tell first?
Nick. Though it's hard to really gauge real reaction over the phone hehe.
6. Did you want to find out the sex?
Yeah, only because Nick really really really wanted to know if it was a boy.
7. Due date?
Dec 10.
8. Actual date of birth
Dec 8
9. Did you have morning sickness?
People hated me, but no, not at all. It was a blessing in disguise coz I needed to work up to the end.
10. What did you crave?
Nothing out of the ordinary. I <3 junk food already. hehe.
11. Who irritated you the most?
Nick
12. What was your Child's gender?
boy
13. How much did you gain?
Around 20 lbs
14. Did you have any complications during your pregnancy?
No. But felt like all my organs were pushed in by the 6th month. Couldn't eat normally. Rib pain sucked.
15. Where were you when labor started?
Real labor? Since it was pitocin-induced, at the hospital. 4-5 minute interval, sleep-disrupting, continuous prelabor started 48 hours before :P
16. How many hours were you in labor?
From the time water broke to hey, look we have an egg-headed Asian baby moment :), 6 hours.
17. Who drove you to the hospital?
Nick. We forgot my shoes in the rush.
18. Who watched?
Nick (begrudgingly), my mom, buncha nurses, and for the kodak moment, on-call doc.
19. Was it Natural or C section?
Natural
20. Did you have an epidural?
Yes. And I finally got some sleep! yay.
21. How much did they weigh?
6lbs 1oz
22. Did your child have any complications?
Thankfully no.
23. What is your child's name?
It was a tough process. Even after hours on the net looking at baby names at the hospital (he was already born), it still ended up Kaylor T.
24. How old is your child
4 mos.
25. Will you have other children?
Hopefully, we want a couple more.

Inspired by a video game
We finally received the baby's birth certificate today. As we read over it to make sure everything was correct, I sort of reminisced on how we came upon his name.
We didn't find it in any baby book or anything. Nick already knew what name he wanted if the baby came out a boy... When he told me what it was, I thought it seemed cute, but I hesitated once I learned where he got it from.
Behold the superhuman athlete who inspired the baby's name (click to zoom):

Yup, he's a player in "Mutant League Football" on the Sega Genesis. Nick still plays this game on his PSP since it's part of EA Replay.

Well, at least the character is human - the other players are aliens, skeletons, robots, and trolls...
PS: What sealed the deal though was when Nick was in the bay area last summer. He said he saw an Asian family calling their little son with the same name...
