Decided to try to replace the characters in the Nativity set at the house with potatoes and steal them hoping no one would notice. Sorry, Dad is smart enough not to confuse a wise man with a potato.

• 16:09 discovered chocolate that doesn't contain milk. Ghirardelli Dark Chocolate squares (60% cacao). it's really mom's, but i love it so much.

• 13:11 feeling much better. Napped for a few hours. Actually was able to keep my pedialyte down and ate some more pretzels.

• 15:38 now in that habit of praying before any type of sleep. when mom said it's naptime, I got on my knees and folded my arms.

two beds in a month

About a month ago, we made the jump to get a toddler bed for Kaylor.

Why? The longer he stayed in his crib, the more dangerous it was. He started really loving climbing, and most mornings I'll find him with one leg over the bars, as he tried to escape. So we figured, a bed would be low enough and easy enough so if he's tired or whatnot, he can easily rest.

The downside of his new bed is that he realized it's not as roomy as the floor especially when he has to share the space with his piggy. So almost every night right before we go to bed, I have to pick him up from the floor and put him back on his bed.

During our trip to Vegas, we found that he really can climb out of his crib so we ended up having him sleep with us. And that's how we discovered how wiggly he really was. When we first put him down, all four of us were able to comfortably fit in the queen bed- Nick and I, Kaylor and his piggy (yes piggy has to sleep with him everywhere!). As the hours passed, he would rollover in his sleep, with his arms out, thereby requiring us to inch from our old spot, since he took our place.. It got to the point that Nick almost fell off the bed, and so he had to move to other one. I thought it was going to be fine after that. But no, Kaylor moved around enough times during the rest of the night that I also got nudged off the bed. So basically, he had the whole queen bed to himself (and piggy of course).

Definitely proves that a toddler bed is way too small for him. :)

So when we got back, we brought up the futon bed and moved it to his room.

So far it's turning out OK. We'll see in another month I suppose...

• 10:05 scattered graham cracker bears all over the floor in my room. when my mom saw it, i pretended to be shocked about the bears too.

• 12:17 woke up in quite a good mood. even though i had minimal sleep due to last night's marathon puking session.
• 12:18 so excited to finally eat and drink without having mom plant me on the sink so i can spew. and piggy's washed and clean. tnx daddy.

• 12:09 really into this printer lately. it's now red, purple, blue from all the crayon markings
• 16:57 eat half a grape. done with it. grab another grape, and eat half of it again. rinse. repeat.
• 17:10 i think all phones have touch screens. tried to tap dad's old moto razr to see if it'll respond

• 21:34 my new bed didn't even last a month. My parents switched me out to a futon bed since I prefer sleeping on the floor. lotsa wiggle rm there
